Rellenitos, postre from Guatemala by Ana

Today we're proud to introduce a new language on help-beat-sarcoma, or how to share your brunch for a good cause, Spanish. Ana, from Guatemala submitted one dessert (postre) typically from her country. She also did a great job (Bravo!) by translated it into French (she just started taking French classes). So I guess from now on you can submit your brunch in French, English and Spanish :-)

In association with we host a campaign on the web: "share your Sunday brunch for a good cause". We are well aware that won't change the world but it shows that we care and we may also raise some funds (adsense has been implemented on the dedicated blog and you can find a direct link for donations).

One of my friend Nathalie was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer: sarcoma. A cancer that doesn't get much public attention. With her support I launched help-beat-sarcoma-a-thon or how to share your Sunday brunch for a good cause. The idea is to raise awareness, and why not also donations, about this cause on internet, but a joyous way. And what more joyous than sharing a good meal! De Guatemala

Tiempo de preparación : 30 minutos

Ingredientes para : 20 bolas pequeñas

Ingredientes :

4 plátanos maduros

1 lata de frijoles negros




Hervir en una olla los plátanos para cocerlos con azúcar y canela al gusto.

Luego machacarlos y hacerlos puré.

Freír los frijoles con azúcar y chocolate y dejar enfriar.

Al estar tener una pasta fácil de moldear, crear pequeñas bolas y rellenarlas con el frijol.

Freír en aceite bien caliente las bolas de plátano.

Servir calientes y con azúcar al gusto.

Temp de Preparation: 30 minutes

Ingredients pour: 20 petite boules.


4 plantains

1 boite de haricots noirs




Cuisez les plantains dans la marmite avec du sucre et de la cannelle.

Épluchez les plantains et redussez les en purée.

Faites frire les haricots avec le sucre et le chocolat, puis laissez refroidir.

Quand les plantains sont en purée facile de modeler, faites une petite boule et remplissez avec les haricots.

Faites frire dans l´huile très chaud les boules du plantain.

Servez chaud avec du sucre.

La recette dans les 2 langues me permet de comprendre des termes qui demeuraient ambigus pour moi.
